The Today screen

The Today screen is the starting point of LEX PRO. Every time you open the app, you immediately find a smart summary of your day and the current week.

To do today

At the top of the screen you will find the To do today section: a horizontal sliding list of cards, each representing an event not yet completed for the current day. The counter on the right of the title immediately indicates how many events await you.

Tap a card to open the detail of the event and view all its data: date, time, type, notes and linked practice.

If there are no events for today, the section shows the message "No events for today".

Events summary

The Event Summary section shows a grid of colored cards, one for each type of event for the current week:

• Hearings
• Chores/Tasks
• Communications
• Generic
• Private

Each card shows the total of events, how many are to be completed, how many have expired and how many have already been completed or suspended. Tap a tab to open the list of events of that type.

The All tab shows aggregated totals and leads to the Full Summary view, where you can filter by week, month, year, entire archive, or choose a custom period (specific month and year).

Important news

If important updates are available — such as circulars or legislative news — the Important News section shows them highlighted with an orange icon. Tap an article to read its full content.

You can turn off the news from the Notifications Settings.

Quick actions

At the bottom of the screen you will find three buttons of Quick Actions:

• New Event — create an event immediately without going through the Calendar section
• New Practice — opens the form for creating a new practice
• New Contact — opens the form for creating a new contact

Update the data

Drag down anywhere on the screen to update all the data in real time.
