iCloud sharing in LEX PRO
With LEX Premium you can share events, practices and contacts with other app users via iCloud. The data remains synchronized in real time on all devices of the participants in the share.
This function is ideal for law firms, collaborators or members who have to work on the same files.
How to share a practice
- Open the detail of the practice you want to share
- Tap the share button (circled person icon) in the navigation bar
- The app prepares iCloud sharing and introduces the system panel
- Choose how to send the invitation: via Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or any other app
- The recipient must have LEX PRO installed — a Premium subscription is not required to accept an invitation
How to share events and contacts
The same procedure applies to events and contacts: open the item detail, tap the share button, and send the invitation. Participants will see the item in their app, in the view with scope Shared.
Manage an existing share
If you've already created a share, tap the share button again to open the management panel, where you can:
- See who has access
- Modify permissions (read-only or edit)
- Revoke access to individual participants
- Completely stop sharing
Shared View in Calendar and Cases
In the Calendar, Cases, and Contacts sections you will find the scope filter Shared: it shows only the items you are sharing with others or that someone has shared with you. This way you always have under control what is visible to colleagues.
Synchronization between devices
Even without sharing with other users, LEX PRO uses iCloud to automatically synchronize all your data between iPhone, iPad and Mac. All you need is logged in with the same Apple ID and have an active Premium subscription.
Requirements
- Who shares: LEX Premium subscription active and iCloud access configured
- Who receives the invitation: LEX PRO installed — Premium is not required
