The Attachments in LEX PRO
With LEX Premium you can attach documents, photos, audio recordings and handwritten notes to any element of the app: Practices, Events, Contacts and folders of the Notebook. All in one place, always accessible.
Where are the attachments available
The Attachments section is present in the details of:
- Cases — documents and media relating to the file
- Events — attachments directly to the hearing, fulfillment or any other event
- Contacts — documents or notes related to a customer or colleague
- Folders of the Notebook — sketches and handwritten notes organized in personal folders

Documents
Select a file from iCloud Files or from any other attached storage app (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.). Supports PDF, Word documents, spreadsheets and any format supported by iOS.
Photo from the Library
Import images directly from your device's Photo Library to attach photographs of documents, places, or any other relevant image.
Take a picture
Use the device's camera to photograph a document on the fly and attach it immediately.
Document Scan
The document scan feature uses the camera to create an optimized PDF of any paper document, with automatic perspective correction and improved readability.
Audio Note
Record a voice memo directly in the app to capture a reminder, a quick note or a summary of a conversation. The recordings are played with the integrated audio player.
Handwritten note with Apple Pencil
On iPad with Apple Pencil, you can create a handwritten note using PencilKit. Notes are saved as high-resolution sketches and can be transferred to a notebook folder.
View an attachment
Tap an attachment in the list to open it with the built-in Quick Look, which supports PDF previews, images, videos, and many other formats without leaving the app.
Rename and delete attachments
With a long tap on an attachment you access the options to rename or delete it. The cancellation requires confirmation to avoid accidental deletions.
Move to the Notebook
Handwritten notes attached to a case or event can be moved to the Notebook by selecting the desired destination folder.
Requirements

- For handwritten notes: iPad with Apple Pencil (1st or 2nd generation)
- For document scanning: device with camera (iPhone or iPad)
