The Notebook of LEX PRO
The Notebook is the personal space of LEX Premium for your free notes: a digital notepad where you can create thematic folders and fill them with sketches, manuscript annotations and ideas, regardless of practices or events.
Personalized folders
The Notebook is organized in folders that you can create and customize at will:
- Choose the name of the folder
- Assign a color to recognize it at a glance
- Choose an icon to further customize the appearance
Tap the + button to create a new folder. With a long tap on the folder, access the options to edit or delete it.
Smart folders
In addition to personal folders, the Notebook shows three smart folders that automatically collect handwritten notes already linked to other elements of the app:
- Events — handwritten notes attached to Calendar events
- Cases — handwritten notes attached to the files
- Contacts — handwritten notes attached to the contacts of the address book
Create handwritten notes
Open a folder and tap + to create a new sketch. The drawing canvas based on PencilKit opens:
- Write and draw freehand with Apple Pencil or with your finger
- Use Apple's Scribble function to convert handwriting to text
- Choose between pens, pencils, markers and eraser
- Adjust the thickness and color of the tools
Grid view
Within each folder the notes are shown as thumbnails in a grid, so you can recognize the contents of each sketch at a glance.
Search and displacement
Use the Notebook's search bar to find folders by name. You can move a note from one folder to another through the context menu available with extended tap.
Scribble with Apple Pencil
On iPad with Apple Pencil, Apple's Scribble technology allows you to handwrite directly in the text fields of the app — in the titles of the cases, in the notes of the events and wherever there is an input field — and to see the writing automatically converted to digital text.

- For advanced handwritten notes: iPad with Apple Pencil recommended (also works with the finger)
- Available on iPhone and iPad (Mac version in development)
